Meet Bella
The Bearded Dragon
Bella may look like a perfectly camouflaged nugget of desert sand, but don’t let her spiky exterior fool you—this girl is a professional hand-hugger and a full-time snuggle bug. Once you’re lucky enough to hold her, prepare to lose circulation in your fingers as she wraps herself around your hand like a sleepy reptilian burrito. It’s less “lizard handling” and more “lizard being emotionally co-dependent in the best way possible.”
She’s made it her personal mission to make everyone she meets fall in love—starting with a firm cuddle and ending with the dramatic inhalation of her dinner.
Bella doesn’t eat food. She demolishes it. With the speed of a vacuum and the enthusiasm of a toddler at a birthday party, no cricket, worm, or veggie stands a chance.
Docile? Check. Sweet? Absolutely. Perfect desert aesthetic? 10/10 would blend into a sand dune.
Bella is living proof that sometimes the fiercest dragons are actually just hungry, cuddly, emotionally attached lap potatoes.
