From a very young age I have always had a deep love and admiration for the “creepy crawlies” or the animas deemed “unlovable”. I would bring home snakes or spiders I found outside and couldn’t understand why my family got scared and didn’t have the same excitement or appreciation that I did for my findings. I learned very quickly that peoples perspectives of these animals are extremely clouded by misinformation and media portrayal. Now, working at Scales and Tails Utah – I’ve been given the opportunity to teach and change perspectives about these amazing critters and all of the wonderful things they do to benefit us and our planet!
